Almost two thirds of employers, 62%, say clerical, junior managerial, professional and administrative roles are the most likely to be lost as AI is deployed more widely.
That pattern helps explain why the UK has seen a roughly 8% net reduction in roles linked to AI over the past year, with routine office work most exposed.
The hedge
Workers in affected roles are being urged to move toward tasks that combine judgement, relationships and oversight of AI, the parts of a job that are hardest to hand to a model.
